My Story with the Rods of Power

My mix of abilities is unusual but not extraordinary. My initial training is that of a cartographer and I worked for many years as a cartographic surveyor for Britain’s official map making agency the Ordnance Survey.

I later taught myself how to use a computer and made my living for a long time as a freelance multimedia artist. I also have a spiritual side having first learned to meditate at the beginning of 1975. I studied for three years in what most people would call an ashram. I also helped to found and build a large spiritual community in the north west of England where I lived for over fourteen years. We practised meditation and other techniques that took roughly four hours a day. All of this makes me who I am and partly because of this I was qualified to do the work you will find here.

This site documents a journey of discovery. In part it is a personal journey seen from my own limited perspective. It is also infused with knowledge. If you want to read how I first became involved with the Els there is a post about that here on my personal website.

Our Mother Earth, Gaia is a living being and has a nervous system very similar to our own. I use the word Mother Earth when referring to the physical manifestation of our planet. Gaia is the being, the life force who inhabits our planet, her physical body. They are completely interrelated and cannot really be separated but it is easier to understand if I do. She is a being and you can talk to her, that isn’t hard to do see talking to the Earth.

I am discussing here subtle levels of creation that are not normally tenable to our five senses. They are part of Mother Earth’s structure and people are able to feel them but it is only one part of the whole.

We may know a little about our own physical bodies but science has only just begun to take notice some of its more subtle energy networks. The Eastern ancient healing systems and philosophies make references to centres or chakras and the meridians the lines of energy that connects them. The lines of energy that are described here are perhaps similar to these.

People often ask if these lines are the ley lines. Ley lines are not actually energy lines but I will use the term to keep things simple. These lines are related but not directly other than that the energies are fed to ley lines from the lines described here. Their scale is very different. These lines are huge, sixty five to two hundred and twenty miles wide. The best way to describe the difference is that ley lines are a surface phenomena, more like our capillaries compared to these lines which are a deeper and are more like our arteries. They travel continuously right around and also right through the centre of the Earth. The Els, a sub group of the Elohim, the beings who made them call these lines of energy the Rods of Power.

In the same way that a human being is not isolated but a living part of his or her environment, Gaia has her place in divine scheme of things. Energies move from the outerness mix with the energies within Mother Earth and then these combined energies travel around Mother Earth but also back out into the outerness again in a cyclic motion. I use the word outerness because we are not talking about 3D reality but higher density, what you might call higher dimensions. Density better describes them because they vibrate at higher frequencies.

These energies support all life here and is the source of what people call chi, prana, life force depending on their discipline.

In the far distant past something happened to jolt Mother Earth out of her rightful position. This is often referred to as the fall. It was both a physical fall but it also caused a fall in consciousness. It is not my intention to go into details about this event here but it is important to understand that it happened. After plotting the energy lines the evidence indicates that there is a misalignment on the angle of tilt by roughly three and a half degrees. Since writing this many years ago now, the Earth has been moved and is now back in her rightful position. That happened in about 2004.

After the catastrophic event not all the energies from the outerness could reach Mother Earth. There had been twelve rays of energy feeding into the system but afterwards only seven of them still reached her. Our planet survived but became denser and has existed up until relatively recently on the energies from just these seven rays. We know them as the seven colours of the visible spectrum and they are directly linked to our chakras. This is not perhaps the whole story but is enough of an insight to help you understand this work. In the early seventies the Els came back and have been mending the Rods of Power but also brought back the five missing rays. The entire system is working perfectly again and we are going up in consciousness. The missing chakras are being activated and we now have thirteen.

The Els who created Mother Earth’s energy network at the very beginning of her existence came back to repair the damage and move her back to her rightful position. They did this from our planets core. In the early 1970’s William Elmhirst and his wife Vera were contacted and recruited by the Els to assist in their task. Vera Elmhurst was a very special person in that she was clairaudiant and clairvoyant and able to communicate directly with the Els. This was not an easy thing to do because their very Being is so powerful that it could easily destroy anyone open enough to detect them.

She was also able to communicate directly with other beings we call the Ascended Masters. The Ascended Masters are beings who have known human existence and over many lifetimes have achieved perfection transcending the need to reincarnate here again. They reside outside of time but have chosen to assist us to ascend as they have. These beings were able to guide and protect William and Vera. They also provided information.

Vera’s abilities made her uniquely qualified for the work. William had his own abilities but was principally there to support Vera and did so tirelessly for over twenty years. William was independently wealthy and had enough not to have to work and had the resources to go anywhere at a moment’s notice. The two of them selflessly dedicated their lives to this work. Vera particularly suffered both physically and mentally from their exertions. After Vera had passed away William continued to work on mainly on his own for another ten years. We the human race owe them a huge debt of gratitude.

The work, they undertook, required them to go to certain places to act as a focus for the energies directed by the Els. The Earth had become too dense for them to do this alone. Their travels and the work they did has been documented and formed the basis of the material used to create the maps I have made. They were not the only source of information and there was a great deal of interaction with William and others but also with the Els and the Masters.

The Work Began In Britain

To try and map something that is not tangible is not that easy. The only concrete information was the descriptions of the journeys and the names of the places visited by William and Vera. The texts also contain some indications of which places were connected.

Mother Earth is an oblate spheroid and any straight line on this sphere will show up on a flat map projection as a curve except over very short distances or in a few seldom found circumstances. This curve can be calculated easily enough but doing this is a slow process. In order to get the maps started it was actually easier to work on a flat map. Rough alignments could be sketched out fairly quickly. It was not very accurately but gave me a guide. I also used a blow up earth on which I placed large rubber bands which made it easier to see how the lines circled the globe.

Working in a group of five people we roughed out the information as best we could, refining it as we went along. We met on a regular basis reviewing the work that I had done between meetings. Everyone made contributions. At first I tried to act as a kind of innocent and independent arbitrator to sort out all the information but it became increasingly obvious that I needed to take full responsibility. None of the people had any practical understanding of how to make a map.

The energies in the meeting place were immense and left me exhausted for several days after each meeting. We met in a special place, a place perhaps that is less dense than most. The Els had done considerable work there, improving and refining the energies. It enabled them to use it as a portal to get to inner Earth. The work they did in creating the network began at the centre of the Earth and that is where they needed to be for its repair. It also made it easier for them to engage directly with people.

William and Vera began their work in the British Isles and it was decided to do the same. This was not simply a coincidence or because they lived there. They lived there because it was the place to start. The British Isles is very important to the whole system because the British Isles lies over the heart of the network. In the human body if the heart is repaired first, then the benefits are carried quickly right throughout the rest of the system. In the same way that the largest major arteries run through the human heart there are many Rods of Power that run through the British Isles. Britain covers a relatively small area but no other landmass has the same density of rods. William was brought up living at the heart centre. It acclimated him to this energy.

We began the map making process by plotting all the places that had been visited, in the British Isles, for the purpose of ‘activation’. Activation is the term coined to describe the energy work that William and Vera participated in. All these points were on or close to the centres of Rods.

This first map shows all the points.

Roslin near Edinburgh was not visited until 2003 which was after Vera died. The Rod that runs through there had eluded William and Vera in their earlier trips to Scotland in the 70’s and 80’s. Possibly because it took more recently for this Rod to re-establish itself properly. There were a few points included in this early stage which have not been integrated into the network as yet.

Having plotted all the points the next step was to join these points up to create great circles or lines that run right around the globe. To do this I also used other points that had been visited in other countries and were known to be on the same lines of energy. The further away they where the more accurate the alignment could be calculated. This was only my first attempt. William was a good leader but not a very practical man. He tried to use a globe to work out rough alignments. Even an expensive globe can only give approximate positions and he misdirected me a few times. Once I realised he wasn’t a good source of information it became much easier.

To give you an example he told me one line ran from Barbados through Tresco and then onto Dartington. That is what is shown above but these points don’t line up no matter how I adjusted them. Barbados is a fairly large island and that meant I needed another point somewhere else. I now have other points on this Rod which have tightened it up. The line does cover Tresco but Tresco is not at its centre. There is another Rod that crosses there which confused the issue. That happened a lot. William did record his travels fairly accurately and that was my main reference but I am still tweaking orientations today. It has been a fine balancing act. I used Vera’s references to Rods feeling the same in different places which has proved to be most accurate even if her references are a bit vague. I have learned to recognise the Rods interaction with topographical features like rivers, headlands and mountains. This give me another form of confirmation. I also use my intuition. I have had my worked independently checked and that surprised me how good my intuition is.

The Rods are so wide that small errors are not a big problem but I have had to dig for alternative information a few times and am still open to changes. Competent dowsers can pick up these lines quite easily and I have had some confirmations. I welcome any such information.

I have mentioned that the British Isles lies over the heart of our world. The human heart has two chambers and Mother Earth has something similar.

The first of these is centred at Dartington Hall in the south west of England. The second is in Scotland.

There is a major Rod crossing in both places but there is also a circle of energy. The one at Dartington in the south west of England grew from just a few miles wide when we first tested it but to over a hundred miles in diameter in just four years. That shows that the system in fully functional again. This whirling energy is a part of the cleansing process for this network.

The second cleansing centre is focused at Evie on the Isles of Orkney. This centre is much larger being around two hundred miles in diameter. There are a number of rods that have a crossing point close to Evie but it is not over that centre point being a little south of it. The end of the line between these two circles ends where it lies. I don’t know if this a mistake or a part of the construction. This big circle is also fed by another junction at the Faroe bank.

The energy within the whole global network moves from west to east and always in a clockwise direction. This applies to both hemispheres.

Up to this point I had been working on a large laminated flat map using a chinagraph pencil to mark out alignments. This enabled me to change the positions relatively easily but wasn’t very accurate. I wanted to move my work to a computer and work in 3D. There was nothing commercially available at that time. This was a very long time before Google Earth and the internet was only in its infancy. I decided to make my own 3D model. I used a 3D animation package, 3Ds Max, that I owned and knew fairly well.

Setting that up took a while, about six months to build, but proved to be a very good choice. It was accurate to about two seconds of arc and made my work very much easier. The base maps I used could be changed very easily and I refined them as I went along. It was good for a general overall picture but not brilliant for showing local detail, nothing like as good as modern virtual models like Google Earth.

I recently moved all the information to Google Earth Pro which is the bases of all the maps shown on this site. This creation constitutes roughly twenty years of work. I am still learning and get new information all the time. William felt that this was sacred knowledge and didn’t want me to publish it. I took over his role at one point taking on the mantle of The Solar Quest but he never really acknowledged that and I have respected his wishes. He died some time ago and hopefully understands why I have decided to share this information. I communicated with the Els and as usual that was rather overwhelming. As far as they are concerned I am a sovereign being with free will and can choose to do what I like, I also need to take on that responsibility. Their response is still unfolding but as with any direct communication with them I felt loved and have been raised up. I have accepted who I am and have made the decision myself. I share here freely all that I have learned.
